Delete your Hawpol account

You can delete your account and personal data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete your account in the app

Open the Hawpol app and sign in.
Go to Settings.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm. Your account is deleted and you are signed out.

Ask us to delete your account

If you cannot use the app, send us a deletion request from the email address on your account. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We complete requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your profile: name, email, phone number, password and profile photo.
Your sign-in sessions and the push notification tokens of your devices.
Content that only you can see, such as your settings and language preference.

What may be kept

Your school may keep school records it is required to keep, such as grades, reports and attendance, under its own policies and the law.
Content you published to a school, such as homework you posted as a teacher, may stay with the school without your name, or be removed by the school.
We may keep limited records for up to 90 days in backups and security logs, or longer where the law requires it.
